Here at Regimental Cleaning Services, we have deep rooted links within the Armed Forces community and are always happy to show our support to military organisations.
We are proud to be one of the headline sponsors of the Welsh Guards Veterans Inter Company Boxing Night, taking place on March 4th at The Vale Sports Arena in Penarth, Cardiff. The other headline sponsors are Forces Fitness Ltd, and Print Inc Embroidery & Print.
The funds raised at the event will go to the Welsh Guards Charity. The Welsh Guards Charity was formed in 2013 as a result of several Regimental Charities and Funds merging together. The aim of the Charity is to provide benefits and support to the Regiment, the Battalion and Welsh Guardsmen both serving, retired veterans, and their families.
In addition to the funds raised from ticket sales, there will be donation buckets, raffles and sporting memorabilia on auction on the night. The event is the first of its kind and is presented by Welsh White-Collar Boxing and JC Promotions.
Our connection to the military community stems from our founder, Ian Williams, who served in the Welsh Guards for almost 10 years. A high percentage of our staff are also former military personnel, ensuring our ethos and high military standards are always illustrated in all the work we complete.
Ian Williams, our founder, said:
“It is always a great pleasure to show the military community our support. Supporting military personnel is at the heart of what we do, hoping to create more opportunities within our business to continue supporting important causes and people. The work that the Welsh Guards Charity does is so valuable to currently serving Welsh Guardsmen, retired veterans and their families, and is a cause we are happy to get behind.”
